Carmen’s Smoothie Party

I was very honoured to be invited by Carmen aka +KaManBaby HoneyBunny to her Smoothie Party!

She won this Party prize not long ago in a Smoothie King event: http://kamanbaby.blogspot.sg/2012/12/smoothie-king.html
and 20 of her friends and followers get together for a smoothie good time!!

Upon arriving the Smoothie King outlet in Centrepoint, (it is right smack at the entrance!!) I was greeted with this HUGE cuppa smoothie!!
Smoothie King has set-up a private area for us so we could fit right in and chat all we want!
I was there before Carmen arrived, so some of her friends were nice to direct me into her party!
Being typical Singaporeans, we were shy at first, so we took some time to explore what their menu has to offer.
Interestingly, all their smoothies are less than 250Cal!! That’s about or less than a regular Starbucks coffee. Sweet! I took a long time to decide but I have decided on Very Berry.
It’s loaded with strawberries, cranberries, blueberries and soy protein and it’s only 217 Cals!
My order’s arrived!!!
Take a up close look at its consistency. It’s not the icy kind like frapps where you can chew on the ice bits, this one is pack full of fruits, proteins and electrolytes; and it is very yummy!!
Teriyaki Chicken Wrap
Besides Smoothies, we were also been treated with two different kind of wraps!
The above one is teriyaki chicken and the one below is honey mustard chicken.
Teriyaki chicken is a warm wrap and honey mustard chicken is a cold wrap. Both are very delicious to me, but majority of our friends love the teriyaki chicken wrap.
Honey Mustard Wrap
I like the fact that while these wraps taste fabulous, they are really healthy too with the wraps packed full of vegetables. Not only it is refreshing, it gives the wrap the crunchiness it needs!!
Me and Carmen
While enjoying our yummy drinks, we HAVE to take awesome pictures too!!!
Throughout the whole party, I kept thinking that Smoothie King is super familiar to me.
The colours, the shape of the logo; but in reality, I haven’t visited the store before.
It wasn’t until a day later when I was re-watching one of my favourite korean drama then I realised why it is SOOOO familiar.
Smoothie King was featured in two scenes in Shining Inheritance (episode 18 and 28)
I also stumbled upon the below screenshot online: Oh My Lady (Episode 13)
which also featured Smoothie King…
According to Jamil, the management operations executive; Strawberry Extreme is the most popular flavour in Korea and Angel Food is the most popular flavour in the USA.
The Smoothie King outlet that Carmen’s party was held is at Centrepoint. The outlet is smacked right at the entrance. Once you enter, you will be greeted by the giant cup so you won’t miss it!!
The Smoothie mascot also graced Carmen’s party!!! We all have fun taking turns to have a picture with the cute fella.
When only me, Apple, Carmen and her boyfriend were the only ones left still chatting at the party, the nice Jamil came around and offer us a second round of drinks and wraps on the house.
From top left to bottom right: Strawberry Extreme, Angel Food, Mango Festival and Very Berry.
Woo-hoo!
This time round we tried other flavours, but I think mine got mixed up and I got the same berry drink again.
Oh well, nevertheless, I still love it!!
